Internet Resource Guide
Introduction
The Women and International Development Program
(WID) at Michigan State University (MSU) is a non-profit organization for
the promotion of teaching and research on issues of women and the development
process. Among our activities and programs, we maintain an active publications
program that includes the WID Working Papers Series and the WID
Bulletin which features articles, resources, and book reviews.
This Internet Resource Guide includes sites
from the World Wide Web which pertain to the field of WID. These sites were
accessed through an extensive search and from suggestions by individuals in
the field. The sites have been categorized by region and include a wide variety
of resources. The name of the organization is included as well as a description
of its goals, followed by the Web address. As the Internet is constantly expanding
and changing, this guide is an ongoing endeavor. Please send us the addresses
of other sites with which you are familiar!
If you would like information on other resources
available from MSU/WID, please contact the Women and International Development
Program, 206 International Center, Michigan State University, East Lansing,
MI 48824-1035, USA; phone 517/353-5040; fax 517/432-4845; e-mail: wid@msu.edu
* Also try searching individual country home
pages. Often these have information on women that pertain specifically
to that area.
